The amazing team at Springfield Public Day Middle School!
Springfield Public Day Middle School, in Springfield, Massachusetts, kicked off the year by putting their instructional priorities front and center—and making sure everyone is aligned in pursuing them.
Teachers and leaders gathered to analyze Student Achievement Partners’ Core Actions videos for instructional practices they want to prioritize. Then they reviewed the leadership team’s plan for advancing those priorities through PD, observation, and sharing data weekly.
The session helped the math and ELA teams orient themselves to their instructional priority definitions of success. The teams will refer back to those definitions throughout the year and update their walkthrough tool as they advance their priorities. We look forward to seeing their progress!
